Kenechukwu Agwu

Kenechukwu Agwu is a highly skilled legal professional with experience spanning over a decade in several fields of law including corporate and commercial law. She currently serves as Legal Counsel at First Trustees Limited (FTL), providing strategic legal advisory to business and operational units, as well as company secretarial support.

Kenechukwu’s legal career is marked by breadth and depth across diverse sectors. She began her practice at the renowned law firm Ajumogobia & Okeke, proceeded to serve as Legal Officer at Fidelity Bank, and later joined GetBundi, a technology startup, as In-House Counsel. Her experience includes project finance, mergers and acquisitions, estate administration, regulatory compliance, banking and finance law, litigation, intellectual property, and corporate governance.

She holds an LL.B. from the University of Leicester and an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary University of London, demonstrating a strong foundation in both local law and international legal frameworks.
